Via Agnello,19 - Milan
Price: 10 €
What is there to eat: the buffet is in part self service and partly served and includes pizzas, bruschetta, polenta with dried tomatoes, vegetable frittata, various cold cuts, a first course, meat loaf, sausage, lots of vegetables. At the table they serve a fried dumpling basket and a first heat.
Ambience: very centrally located restaurant (behind the Duomo) in Old Milan style, not very large with small tables. At the weekend it is best to book.
Opinion: there is a list of drinks that are listed by the maid: classic cocktails, beers, non-alcoholic wine and house cocktail (sweet or dry). We have tried a sweet non-alcoholic cocktails and a Negroni, both good and without that huge amount of ice that most of the proposed premises. Buffet plentiful, quality ok but some courses like fried dumpling (gnocco fritto), salami and mushroom pasta that they served at the table were especially good.
Drink a cocktail and choose something to eat in a good buffet is fun and definitely less expensive than a dinner at the restaurant.
